What We Do

The term ‘project management – PM’ is commonly used to define a set of activities designed to achieve the goals / objectives of a project. It includes the application of knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to project activities in order to achieve the planned objectives. ECECE has a great deal of experience in PM actions through its work within the ‘family’ of the European Territorial Cooperation Programmes, with the new EU Programme for Education, Training, Youth and Sport for 2014-2022 (ERASMUS +), with actions under the EuropeAid service and with the new EU Research & Innovation Programme (HORIZON 2020).

​In all of these programmes, ECECE carries out typical PM activities starting from the genesis of the project idea to the reporting and auditing for the beneficiaries as well as the required follow-up and sustainability of the project outcomes and results. The latest approach for most private business operators is ‘work by contract’, which means that each single ‘contract’ is considered as a stand-alone action with precise resources (time, skills and money) to be displayed for the achievement of a precise goal and concrete results. In this context, ECECE is particularly keen to apply PM concepts, approaches and tools directly to private organisations for their daily operations.

ECECE is a partner of several secondary schools and universities around Europe to promote positive measures to spread entrepreneurship education, the entrepreneurial mind-set and entrepreneurial culture into more ‘traditional’ education systems which are normally reluctant towards this issue. Activities such as “Idea generation laboratories”, “The right & left brain business plan”, “Design thinking for innovation” are just few examples of the new entrepreneurial ‘concepts’ that can be applied to education.

Following its core mission, ECECE is also a partner of several vocational training agencies around Europe to define and implement strategies and single actions for the spreading of entrepreneurship to a wider audience of vocational trainees. With its holistic and design thinking approach, ECECE encourages self- reliance in the participants so that they can achieve personal fulfilment and the realisation of their own business ideas and projects.
